Camp Information

Mission Statement

To develop a caring and learning environment filled with good values and respect for one another, rich with memorable experiences and down home fun.

Choose 1 or all 11 weeks. Daily activities include indoor and outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, science experiments, drama, games, field trips and much much more. Extended care available for campers.

7:00 am to 9:00 am

4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Lights, Camera, Action! Drama Camp: June 25 to 29

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate) Students will learn the basic fundamentals of theatre and acting in this camp. This camp will enhance public speaking skills. A final production is given to parents. | back to top

Culinary Camp: July 9 to 13

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Kids will have an extensive week exploring the culinary art. We will explore recipes, safety, cooking techniques, cake decorating, and a lots of tasting too. Discover the gourmet in you. | back to top

The “Pottery Barn” Camp: July 23 to 27

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

This camp offers an exciting avenue for creating your own art. This camp gives both beginners and an opportunity to develop skills in ceramic art. | back to top

Craft Builders Workshop: July 23 to 27

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Kids love the opportunity to use hammers, saws, drills, and other basic hand tools to make projects out of wood. In addition to learning safe carpentry techniques, students gain experience in problem solving. | back to top

Sew . . . Fabulous Week for Girls: August 6 to 10

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Beginners will learn the basics to sewing including stitch work, cutting patterns, and making your own garment. Participants will model their final projects for parents and friends at the end of the program. | back to top

Survival Camp for Boys: August 6 to 10

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Get closer to nature this summer! Join other children in one of your neighborhood parks for a full week of survival fun. We’ll explore forests, fields, and creeks, make crafts and play games to learn more about the plants and animals that live right here in our backyard. | back to top

C.S.I. (Curiosity, Science, Investigation): August 20 to 25

This camp is sure to be a hit! Your child will learn about interrogation, types of evidence, analyze a crime scene, solve a crime and much, much more. If you love to solve puzzles, work as a team, and enjoy a little competition, you will love CSI Camp! | back to top

Hoop Dreams Camp: June 18 to 22

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Campers will get the best of instruction from great coaches, and will play enough ball to satisfy even those with the biggest “hoop dreams.” | back to top

Volleyball/Bowling Camp: July 2 to 6 (none on July 4)

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Volleyball focuses on improving basic skills that lead to successful playing. Time will be spent learning and practicing serving, passing, spiking, and blocking. Bowling will introduce footwork, swing, grip and finishing position, as well as etiquette and scoring. | back to top

Soccer Camp: July 16 to 20

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

This new camp will prepare your future star for the game of soccer and more! Campers will learn about positioning, juggling, passing, heading, shooting, trapping, and the importance of teamwork. Traditional camp activities will also be included. | back to top

Flag Football Camp: July 30 to August 3

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

Are you ready for some football? Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of football while having a great time. The camp will emphasize skill building, rules of the game, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Included in this camp are swimming, arts and crafts, field trips, competitions and much more. | back to top

Each day is packed full of useful instruction and plenty of practice. Squads learn new cheers, develop teamwork and learn tumbling skills at all skill levels. | back to top

Gaming Week: August 13 to 17

Grasshoppers & Fireflies (separate)

All games a go! A fun-filled week full of exciting games you know, love, or want to learn. Chess, checkers, dominoes, backgammon, just to name a few. Learn the rules of the game, and enjoy the games at all levels of play. | back to top

Adventure Camp: August 27 to 31
