Hope United Methodist Church Mission Statement
Developed at the HUMC retreat September 1998

Hope United Methodist Church is a word-centered, Holy Spirit-directed body of Christian believers who evangelize, disciple, empower, nurture, and educate souls for Christ. HUMC will expand Christian education; foster family and church growth; promote economic development; nurture youth development and extend spiritual inreach and outreach into the larger community. This mission is supported by the commitment of service, prayers, tithes and talents. Led by trained and devoted clergy, staff and membership, we pray, preach, teach and live the Word of God. This ministry is dedicated to the glory of God and the building of His Kingdom for the people of HUMC and the global community.
