Mission Statement
The Worship Ministry plans and administers vital, lively revivals and full services that serve as a catalyst to bring new souls to Christ and renew vitality within existing members. This Ministry reaches out to the overall community by planning revivals and other special events to enhance the membership of Hope United Methodist Church. The Worship Ministry also enhances the overall appearance of the sanctuary with floral arrangements, paraments and other decor.

Components
Acolytes
Light the altar candles and assist the ministers.
Altar Guild Prepares the altar.

Announcement Leaders
Provide pertinent information to the congregation.

Communion Stewards
Assist with distributing elements for Holy Communion.

Pastor's Aide
Provides services to the ministers.

Special Events
Baptisms, revivals, and Maundy Thursday coordination.

Ushers
Seat the worshippers and coordinate movement in and out of the Sanctuary.

Worship Leaders
Set the tone for movement into worship and prayer.

Music Ministry
Accentuates the mood for spirituality and helps to usher in the Holy Spirit.

Our Contribution To Church Growth
The Worship Ministry provides a means for members and visitors to communicate with God. It is a catalyst for feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit and allows one to meditate and act on one's feelings and closeness to the Lord. The Worship Ministry has a profound influence on winning souls for Christ which contributes the growth of Hope United Methodist Church.
