Mission Statement
The mission of the Kedrick and Lynette Adkins Educational Center, located in the Jim and Jacqueline Jenkins Gymnasium, is to provide an inspiring
environment and a rewarding educational experience that will
support members and guests as they continue their journey toward
excellence.
To meet and exceed the expectations of our guests, the Center
provides:
A Holy-Spirit directed, friendly, supportive environment.
A professional, client-focused staff.
An effective and efficient operation in an immaculate Center.
A standard of excellence in delivery of quality curriculum, goods and
services.
An air of excitement and warmth.
An attitude of cooperation, courtesy, mutual respect and commitment.
General Rules
1.
All bookings must be confirmed through the Hope United
Methodist Church (HUMC) Business Manager. HUMC retains the right
to accept or reject requests for bookings as deemed appropriate.
2.
The HUMC Business Manager may assign rooms as needed to accommodate
all bookings.
3.
Applicant agrees to guarantee that all individuals will observe
the following rules in attendance at function and/or event. The Applicant
accepts responsibility for assuring the following:
Orderly behavior.
Program contents and behavior of participants should be that of a nature
suitable for presentation in the house of God.
Responsibility to follow directives of staff.
Use of alcoholic beverages, weapons, drugs, other controlled substances,
and/or gambling of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Nothing will be removed, changed, or rearranged in or on
the facilities without specific approval of the Business Manager.
Groups comprised of individuals 17 years and younger will be required
to have at least two (2) adults present for every twelve
(12) patrons.
4.
Applicant agrees to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking, and
the remaining 50% 30 days prior to the event, as determined
by the HUMC Business Manager.
5.
Applicant agrees to pay within 14 days for any damages, additional
services, rooms or equipment required, requested, and/or
used during the event.
6.
HUMC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged equipment
and/or supplies.
7.
HUMC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged equipment
and/or supplies.
8.
Applicant agrees that signs, exhibits, machinery, booths or shelving
may not be mailed or screwed to the floors, walls, ceiling,
posts, etc. of this facility.
9.
Applicant agrees to return HUMC property in the same condition
as received, excluding reasonable, excluding wear and
tear.
10.
Failure to remove decorations or belongings from rented areas will
result in a cleaning fee that will be added to the final
bill.
